Hi my name is Tammy. We used to be a family of three. We have a 5 year old and just recently my great nephew came to live with us and he is 4. Meanwhile My husband is inthe middle of fileing for diability. That alone is just unblievable. If you would have asked me where we would have been in 2 years this would NOT have been the spot. I am on unemployment no thanks to false temanation. However I was able to collect unemployment it is not enough for our family. I am scared and I have no one to turn to. If my husband knew I was even doing this it would only make him feel worse. For the past 17 years he was our rock and now he is not and that is not going to well. When we got our home in 2002 we were not one of those people that went all out and we could have. But we kept it simple. We bought a brand new house with very low payments less then 360.00 a month. We thought we were being smart. We would say that we kept them low because we did not know were we would be in 5 years. We thouhgt was smart. Then we had this wonderful opernunity to adopt a wonderful child and we did. Five years ago. We went all out and did it. After all we had been married 22 years. We were doing okay. and just like that we have lost our way in life. My husband is badly hurt. I am unemployed and have two very young chilldren who count on us. My heart hurts deeply for them. I was suposed to beable to enjoy these years with our son and now I am in pain for him and now my great nephew. My husband in on all kinds of meds and we can't even pay for all of them. We need help. we have been reling on credit cards and I am scared. We worked for years to keep our credit Great and even though oit is either in the good or fair make. I am sick to my stomach with heartach... We need help. Where can we get help. We can't lose everything we worked so hard for. For so many years. Not to mention my husband worked for his company for 17 years and once he got hurt and hurt on the job he was let go just like that. Losing any retirement he was intitaled to........ Lost in finacial hell with 2 small children and a disabled husband.
